Phillip Murray has accumulated a bevy of talents in only a few years of playing elite ultimate. He is not only a dominant O-line cutter, who made huge strides in his first year, but JB is also known for being a stunt double for Joe “BJ” Sefton. Without Murray’s limitless energy, there is a good chance Sockeye would never have reached the 2010 WUCC Finals. His Semifinal’s stat line: 4 goals and 2 assists. More impressive is that he either caught or threw the offense’s last 4 goals. Murray is primed for a huge year after leading the UW Sundodgers to their first Nationals berth since ’05 and gaining even more big game experience.
