One of the Fish’s newest acquisitions, Erik Doesburg, affectionately nicknamed ‘The Kraken’, has been playing ultimate since the age of 12. Coming across the Atlantic to play for Sockeye has been a dream of his since he first learned about competitive ultimate. As a 22 year old native of the Netherlands, Doesburg has been a monster for Dutch ultimate for quite sometime, making plays all season long both on grass and during indoor play…on the court. Known for exploiting defenders with his height, speed, and throws, Doesburg is excited to bring his young exuberance and intimidating mark to the Fish for the 2011 season.
