Wink bring a special kind of athleticism to the field. His speed and seemingly impossible closing speed allow his to defend some of the best athletes in the game. Callahan scores are not uncommon when Wink locks onto a handler and challenges dump throws both upfield and back into space. Wink worked hard through the offseason after his rookie year to improve his throwing, and has developed a set of reliable breakmark moves to add to the sideways game Wink uses: his dishy throws at low stall counts set up handlers for long strikes before the defense is ready. Wink’s block (and self-injury) on the dangerously fast Tripoli (Bravo) was a major play in the Final this year.
