"Skip" has been a top defender for years with Texas' Doublewide, but it was his 3-block game in the '06 Finals against Furious that has lately made his name as one of the best. Sewell is springy, frustrating bigger players and goalscorers that are used to spending a lot of their time in the endzone. Skip's high-release backhand and tireless cutting allow him to drive the Sockeye offense after forcing a turn. In ’07, Skip added lateral movement to his offensive repetoire. This allowed him to be more involved in the core of the offense, taking advantage of defenders that assume he is strictly an endzone striker.
