Since a breakout performance in the '04 UPA Finals (3 D's while primarily guarding superstar Damien Scott) Blaine has been one of Sockeye's most dangerous defenders. Blaine is a thoroughbred; fast and strong enough to match up with the best athletes on any team. Unusually quick for his size, Blaine's mark also allows him to cause havoc with smaller handlers and in zone defenses. Blaine's long arms and stretchy throws also make him a threat to huck after the turn. Blaine is a workout fiend and designs team workouts throughout the year. Blaine was involved in several short goals vs. Bravo; he can work as a short-yardage handler when covered by bigger, slower downfielders.
