With the World Championships mere weeks away, the Seattle Sockeye are training hard to represent the United States well. DiscNW and the directors of the Northwest's flagship tournament, Potlatch, have developed the Potlatch All-Star game in an effort to entertain and give Sockeye a valuable training game.

On Friday, July 4th, Team USA will take on a team of Potlatch All-Stars at 6:30pm on the Showcase field. The All-Star team will be determined by fan voting. Please choose up to three players from the list (bottom of this page), or write-in any player you think would be a valuable addition to the All-Star team. Write-ins will be added to the list, and we will correct as many spelling differences as we can (but help us out by getting their name as correct as possible before voting). Votes will be tallied and the top 16 vote-winners will be contacted via email to see if they are available and willing to play in the All-Star game.

A scrimmage against players of this caliber will be excellent preparation for National teams like the Buzz Bullets, Furious George, and the Dingoes, among many others. DiscNW and Sockeye hope that this game will be a fun addition to the incredible atmosphere of Potlatch, and would like to thank Potlatch, the fans, and the All-Stars for their help in training Team USA for their upcoming run to the World Championships.
